Ronald James Carroll

Ronald James Carroll also known to many friends and family as Jim of Potosi, Missouri, was born on March 10, 1932 in Wyandotte, Michigan a son to the late John D. Carroll and the late Birdi E. (Young) Carroll. On August 30, 1957, Jim was united in marriage to Ruby L. Burkhard at Butler Baptist Temple and one son was born to this union. Jim went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the age of eighty-six.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Scott Carroll in 2001; three sisters: Edith Alford, Audrey Hebert and Delores Bulifant; two brothers: Raymond O. Carroll and Roy Carroll.

Jim will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his wife, Ruby Carroll; sister-in-law, Mary Stitt and niece Kathy (Harry) Fox all of Potosi; also surviving are nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, May 6, 2018 from 4:30-8 p.m. and Monday, May 7 from 9-11 a.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home 301 East High Street, Potosi, Mo. 63664.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Ainley officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held in the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
