Ronald Wayne Cain, born on March 15, 1956, in Mineral Point, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 8,2024, in his hometown. He was a beloved father and brother, and his passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him.

Ron was a son of the late Roy Cain and Allie (Skaggs) Sansoucie, and he is remembered for the warmth and love that he shared with his family. Throughout his life, he was guided by the principles of hard work, kindness, and dedication to his loved ones. Ronald served in the United States Navy from April 4, 1986 to July 28, 1989. While in service, Ronald was awarded with the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Combat Action Ribbons, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Service Sea Ribbon, and the Good Conduct Medal.

He is survived by his loving children: Richard "Ricky" Cain and Amanda; Teresa McGrael and Brian; Angel Cain and Brandon Stone; and Tammy Cain and Daniel Rutludge. Ron was a proud grandparent to 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought joy and pride to his life.

In addition to his immediate family, Ron is survived by his siblings: Larry Skaggs, Irene Kearns and Will, Brenda Castillo and Jerry, Joyce Cain, Anna Grupe and Dane, and Linda Winick and Chuck. Each of his siblings held a special place in his heart, and their bonds were deepened through shared memories and experiences.

Ron's family members who have preceded him in death include his beloved wife, Joyce Cain; mother, Allie Sansoucie; father, Roy Cain; step-mother, Maudie Cain; brothers John Cain, Everett Cain, David Skaggs, Wyman Cain, Bob Cain, Pete "Roy David" Cain, and twin brother, Donald Cain; as well as sisters Alma Sheridan and Debrah Eckhoff. Their love and memories will remain cherished by Ron's family.

Visitation will be held at DeClue Family Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri, on November 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Ron will be laid to rest at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point, Missouri, with the burial taking place at 2:15 PM.

As friends and family gather to honor Ronald Wayne Cain, they will remember him for his unwavering spirit, generous heart, and the love he so freely gave to everyone around him. His legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who were lucky enough to know him.
