Roger William Mosier

April 15, 1957 — January 28, 2025

Roger William Mosier, born on April 15, 1957, in Farmington, Missouri, passed away peacefully in St. Louis, Missouri, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He will be remembered as a loving dad, a cherished papa, and a dedicated friend to many.

Roger was a man of many interests and a heart full of joy. His love for farm life shone brightly, particularly his love for cows. Sundays would often find him bringing fresh donuts to his grandkids, a tradition that brought smiles and sweet moments to their lives. Yet, he was always home by noon to enjoy watching NASCAR, a sport he passionately supported. Roger embraced life with a playful spirit and was known for his sense of humor, always ready to share a joke or engage in fun activities with those around him.

He found immense joy in camping at Clearwater and St. Francois State Park, and he enjoyed playing cornhole. His hobbies kept him connected to nature and his loved ones, further illustrating the dedication he held for family and friends alike.

Roger's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his family, particularly his children and grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy. He is survived by his four children: "Little Roger" Mosier and fiancé Nicole Dickey, Josh Mosier and wife Sarah, Jayci Helms and husband Casey, and Jordan Mosier and wife Ashley. His memory will continue to live on in the laughter and love shared by his grandchildren: Colby Mosier, Brendan Mosier, Kaelynn Mosier, Gavin Mosier, Hunter Mosier, Oliver Mosier, Fynlee Helms, Sawyer Mosier, Mya Mosier, Brycen Mosier, and Harper Helms. Roger was the beloved brother of Sue and Larry Jarvis, Patty Belfield, and Sheila Mosier, and he enjoyed a close relationship with his special friend, Sue Gertiser. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, each of whom carries their own cherished memories of him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Mosier, and his parents, Woodrow William and Betty Jean Mosier; sister, Linda DeClue; and many other dear relatives who have touched his life.
