Roger Dale Glore Jr. also known as Buddy to his family and friends entered into rest on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital having reached the age of thirty seven years, seven months and four days. He is survived by his daughter Courtney Alexis Glore; son Roger Dale Glore, III both of Mineral Point; parents Roger and Sharon Glore of Mineral Point; three sisters Angie Govero and husband Brian of Potosi; Larissa Slover and husband Dan of Potosi; Katie Dean and husband Gary of Park Hills; grandfather Travis "Jim" Latham; nieces and nephews Hannah Price and husband DJ; Nathan Govero and wife Amanda; Elizabeth Payne; Cheyenne Summers; Emily Thurman; Alex Thurman; Austin Thurman; Mariah Slover; Tatum Slover; McKenzie Dean and Abi Dean; great niece Harley Govero; also surviving are many special aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

Buddy was preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Marie Glore; Lois Latham; brother-in-law Darrick Thurman and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Roger was Helpful, protective, loving, personable, loved life and never met a stranger. No matter if it was family, friend, or medical professional, you would know he liked you by his way of picking and joking. He always had a way to make you laugh. When anyone needed help of any kind, we all knew he would be there. From hooking up speakers and stereos, building a shelf or a house, repairing or remodeling. Even while he was sick he would still offer to help, knowing he wasn't really able to but giving all he had to try. Roger loved to volunteer for youth camp night watch. A job highly disliked by others. If there was an emergency or a situation would arise, he would be there ready to help.

Love and laughter are the words that best describe his life. His main love was his two babies, Courtney and Roger III. He loved spending time with them and playing with them. Not only was he a dad but still just a big kid himself. In his last days, even though he was very sick and in a lot of pain, he still managed to say and do funny things to make his family and even his nurses laugh. Roger was always cold and never could seem to warm, so he would wear a hospital glove on one of his hands. (The hand that did not have needles and lines) His nurse came in and asked, "Roger, why are you wearing that glove?" With a huge smile he replied, "Michael Jackson." He had so many nurses and doctors repeatedly check on him and ask about him because he had left such a lasting impression on them. We will remember him as the giver that he was. Until he drew his last breath he was still wanting the best for his family. He didn't want to see us hurt or cry. He always was and will be a loving son, brother, uncle and father.
