Roger Bergner

Roger Earl Bergner of Jefferson City, Missouri departed this life on May 14, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of sixty five years, six months and twenty five days. He was born on October 19, 1947 in Potosi, Missouri a son to the late Eddie Bergner and Mary Ellen (Litton) Bergner.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents and two brothers in law Herbert Link and James Helming.

Roger served in the United States Army from 1965 ~ 1968.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are three daughters Ellen Bergner of Wayland, New York, Carol Bergner of Wayland, New York, Rebecca Gowdy and husband Curt of Wayland, New York; two sisters Linda Link of Bonne Terre, Carol Helming of Jefferson City; brother Darrell Bergner and wife Donna of Belleview; five grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Memorial service was conducted on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 2013 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
