Rodney Hunter Campbell, of Caledonia, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, having reached the age of 71 years and 25 days. He was born on August 20, 1953 in Farmington, Missouri, a son to the late Hunter Campbell and Aline (Grenia) Campbell. Rodney was united in marriage to Barbara Kindley on March 24, 2012 and they shared 12 years of life and love together.
Those who remain to treasure his memory include his beloved wife, Barbara Campbell; five children: Cody (Sarah) Campbell, Kylie Cantrell (Paula), Tara (Chad) Bickell, Jason (Rose) Campbell, and Brad (Melissa) Campbell; and seven grandchildren: Graiden, Charlee, Mattison, Camren, Sydney, Kendall, and Savannah; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to Rodney’s parents, He was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Hackworth.
Rodney was a simple man. He loved having a good time and had a great sense of humor. He worked hard throughout his life working for various companies as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed being outdoors, cutting hay, and working on his property with his John Deere tractors. In past times, Rodney enjoyed hunting and camping. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved to spoil.
