Roby Hudson

Roby Joseph Hudson of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on June 21, 2010 having reached the age of sixty two years, three months and twenty eight days. He was born on February 24, 1948 at St. Louis, Missouri a son to the late Merritt Hudson and Ollie (Williams) Thompson.

In addition to his parents, Roby was preceded in death by a son Troy Hudson; three sisters Fay Marinack, Joyce Thompson and Barbara Ann Hewlett.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are two daughters Crystal Helms and husband Walter of Sullivan; Judy Hudson of Sullivan; three sisters Betty Massa and husband Bobby Joe of Sullivan; Josephine Hudson ?Jeanie? of Sullivan; Violet Statzel and husband Vernon of Desoto; brother Merrit Hudson ?Sunny? and wife Adell of Sullivan; two grandchildren Adrianna and Paige; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Rhonda Branham officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Carols Luna, Chris Massa, Donald Trice, Sonny Hudson, Jr., Ralph Tucker, Zack Littlefield, Sebastian Littlefield, Donnie Littlefield and Cody Huson.

Interment and final prayers were held at Oddfellows Cemetery, Sullivan. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
