Robert Wright of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on May 19, 2011 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety years. He was born on July 31, 1920 at Duluth, Minnesota.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Carol Wright of Potosi; son David Wright and wife Barbara of Arkansas; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Bob loved music, particularly classical and good jazz. He also loved creating new things. He built his own home, for the most part. His dear wife Carol’s favorite picture portrays Bob on a ladder with a hammer in his hand as he added a beautiful laundry room onto their home. Bob will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 1 PM at DeClue Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Compton officiating. A musical selection was played by Mrs. Rebecca Richards titled “Oh Mio Babbino Caro” written by Puccini.
All funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
