Robert Wallace

Robert Eric Wallace of Farmington, Missouri passed away on October 12, 2015 at his residence having reached the age of sixty three years and twenty five days. He was born on September 17, 1952, a son to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Donaldson) Wallace.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Glenda Wallace of Farmington, Missouri; three children: Marcie Laurence and husband Mike, Melissa Portell and husband Gary, and Tyler Wilson and wife Sonya - all of Farmington, Missouri; two brothers Ian Wallace and wife Zella of Matthews, Missouri and Douglas Wallace and wife Laura of Tennessee; two sisters: Laura Maclerran and Helen Wallace - both of Farmington, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Erica, Stormie, Riely, Aaron, Dylan, Cole, and Jaycee; five great grandchildren: Mason, Jack, Kyron, Abby, and Mary Lou; sister-in-law Donita Tressner of Desloge, Missouri; aunt Elaine Munro of Alberta, Canada; puppies Cooper and Emma; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother James Wallace; and mother and father-in-law: Russell and Delores Sparks.

Visitation for Robert was held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and resumed on Thursday, October 15, 2015 beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral services for Robert began at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Honoring Robert by serving as his pallbearers were Mike Laurence, Tyler Wilson, Gary Stull, Cory Downs, Matthew Tressner, and Michael Montgomery. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Cole, Dylan, and Aaron.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
