Robert Lloyd Puckett of Potosi, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July, 7, 2019 having reached the age of eighty-six years, two months and three days. Robert was born on May 4, 1933 in Potosi, a son of the late John Elijah Puckett and the late Anna Mae (Kelso) Puckett. On July 4th, 1968, Robert was united in Holy Matrimony to Sharon Razer and they shared fifty-one years together.
Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him, including his beloved wife, Sharon Puckett; four children: Brenda (Calvin) Blood, Laminda Puckett, Wendy (Michael) O'Malley, David Raveling; two sisters: Velma Copeland and Anna Mae Shomo; four grandchildren: Jason (Christy) Dotson, Heather (Jim) Funicella, Aaron (Lindy) LaChance, Cory (Melinda) LaChance; seven great grandchildren: Madison, Molly, Emerson, Kelsey, Isabelle, Annaleigha, and Adalyn; special nephew and niece, Jeremy and Jessica Higginbotham; dear friend, Zanada Martin; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his father and mother, Robert was preceded in death by four brothers: Edgar (Georgia) Puckett, Norman (Ilene) Puckett, William Harry (Mary) Puckett; one sister, Dorothy (Bill) Sappington; brothers-in-law: Robert Copeland and Patrick Shomo.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from which he retired attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. Robert will receive full military honors consisting of flag folding and presentation, gun salute and TAPS.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 4-8 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 9-11 AM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11 AM held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Carl Wilson officiating assisted by Bro. Trevor Kean.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
