Robert Martin

Robert Lee Martin of Hopewell, Missouri passed away on March 24, 2015 at his residence having reached the age of eighty four years, ten months, and eight days. He was born on May 16, 1930 a son to the late Guy and Berdie (Henderson) Martin. Those who remain to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Wanda Faye (Powell) Martin of Hopewell, Missouri; two sons: Ted Martin and wife Sandra of Fredericktown, Missouri and Ricky Martin of Farmington, Missouri; daughter Denae Martin of Park Hills, Missouri; step-daughter Leighann Skiles and husband Chuck of Hopewell, Missouri; two step-sons: Woody Lawson and wife Tammy of Potosi, Missouri and Timothy F. Connour of Potosi, Missouri; two brothers: Melvin Martin and wife Diane of Mineral Point, Missouri and Carl Clayton, Sr. and wife Linda of Glen Carbon, Illinois; two sisters: Cora Martin of Rolla, Missouri and Dorothy Blevins of Marble Hill, Missouri; sister-in-law Donna Martin of Desloge, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Austin, Drew, Machaela, Lindsey, Emma, Brandi, Michelle, Zachary, and JJ; five great-grandchildren: Bayleigh, Brayden, Braxton, Ella, and Lane; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by three sisters: Glenda, Gladys, and Pearl; and three brothers: Baby Arthur, Bill, and James. Visitation for Robert will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the DeClue Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Roger Tabor officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at the Hopewell Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
