Robert Ives

Robert Melvin Ives of Belgrade, Missouri, was born on April 17, 1942, in St Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Robert and Juanita Ruth (Taylor) Ives. Bob passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, having reached the age of 81.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his wife of 60 years, Doris Ives; children: Larry Ives (wife, Roberta), Beverly Warden (husband, Phillip); adopted grandsons: Taryn Ives and Aaryn Ives; grandchildren: Dylan Ives, Wyatt Warden, Laryssa Warden, John Burton (wife, Janet), Keith Byron Pratt (wife, Brandi); great-grandchildren: Jenna, Jenni, Reid, and Ella. Also surviving are dear brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Terry R. Ives; siblings: Kenny Ives, Judy Mae Eye, and Roger Ives.

Bob loved his family and friends very much, and enjoyed vacationing with them. He loved to fish, gun and bow hunt, playing horseshoes, and anything to do with cars.

Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2023, from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 9 to 11 am.

A Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11 am, held at DeClue Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Trevor Kean. Interment will follow at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
