Robert Halbert

Robert Dean Halbert of Potosi, Missouri, was born on July 29, 1940 in Caledonia, Missouri, a son of the late Howard “Buck” and Rosalie Halbert. Bob passed away on December 7, 2023, having reached the age of 83.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his son, Gary Halbert (wife, Amy); siblings: Harold Halbert (wife, Vivian), Milford Halbert, Billy Halbert (wife, Caroline), Virginia Montgomery (husband, Jack); and sister-in-law, Bernadine Acreman. Bob was also survived by nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Halbert on October 30, 2021; brother, James Halbert; and sister-in-law, Imogene Halbert.

A Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Service at 1 p.m., held at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664. Elder Mike Jarvis will officiate Bob's service. Interment and final prayers will be held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery where he will be laid to rest by Barbara.
