Robert Chamness

Robert Lee Chamness, known to many as "Big Bob," of Potosi, Missouri passed away on May 8, 2015 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of sixty seven years, nine months, and seven days. He was born on August 1, 1947, a son to Ruby Pearl (Clark) Chamness and the late James Chamness. On March 31, 1972, Bob was united in marriage to Sandra Lindhorst and the shared forty three years together. Those who remain to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Sandra Chamness of Potosi, Missouri; son Robert Chamness, Jr. and wife Kristi of Potosi, Missouri; daughter Crystal Kirby and husband Drew of Potosi, Missouri; mother Ruby Chamness of St. Louis, Missouri; sister Brenda Chamness of St. Louis, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends. In addition to his father, Bob is preceded in death by his granddaughter Ashlyn Mia Kirby. Funeral services for Bob were held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dwight Jones officiating. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
