Robert Cantrell

Robert Junior Cantrell of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on September 1, 2014 having reached the age of eighty four years, eight months, and thirteen days. He was born on December 19, 1929 in Potosi, Missouri a son to the late Elmer and Olive (DeClue) Cantrell.
In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his first wife Connie Cantrell.
Junior was survived by his wife Sharon Cantrell of Mineral Point, Missouri; one son Gary Robert Cantrell and wife Barbara of DeSoto, Missouri; two step-sons Larry Cash and dear friend Alice Simpelo of Potosi, Missouri, and David Cash of Fenton, Missouri; two step-daughters Lisa Blount and husband Jeff of Potosi, Missouri, and Theresa Elsey and husband Phillip of Potosi, Missouri; three brothers Lloyd Cantrell and wife Doris of Mineral Point, Missouri, Roy "Buck" Cantrell and wife Sandy of Potosi, Missouri, and Bernard Cantrell and wife Kathy of Houston, Texas; one sister Marie Cover of Potosi, Missouri; seven grandchildren Moses Cantrell and wife Hannah, Constance Angel Cantrell, J.J. Blount, Joseph Blount and wife Kate, Brody Elsey and wife Desiree, Lauren Cash, and Jody Cash; seven great-grandchildren Austin Johnson, Aiden Cantrell, Asher Tinknell, Zane Blount, Colton Blount, Adelyn Blount, and Lillian Cash; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral Services were conducted on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Richards officiating. Serving as pallbearers were J.J. Blount, Brody Elsey, Jeff Blount, Phillip Elsey, Moses Cantrell, and Larry Cash. Honorary pallbearers were Lauren Cash, Constance Angel Cantrell, Joseph Blount, and Jody Cash.
Internment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
