Robert "Bob" Boyster

Robert Lee Boyster of Potosi, Missouri was born on October 24, 1937, a son to the late Ralph Edward Boyster and the late Mary Evelyn (Revelle) Boyster. On May 10, 1958, Bob was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Lorene (Pashia) Boyster in Cadet, Missouri.

Bob went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 14, 2017 at his residence having reached the age of seventy nine years, two months, and twenty one days.

He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him including his loving wife, Lorene Boyster of Potosi; two daughters: Kathy Thebeau and husband Walter of Potosi, and Lisa Kavanaugh and husband David of Blackwell; siblings: Leonard Boyster and wife Brickey of Potosi, Ronnie Boyster and wife Betty of DeSoto, John Boyster and wife Carol of Mineral Point, Janie Wade of Bonne Terre, Letty Mae Richards of Bonne Terre, Pat Govero and Kay of Bonne Terre, Nancy Bouse of Mineral Point, and Debbie Skaggs and husband Danny of Potosi; five grandchildren: Jason Thebeau and wife Charity, Darrick Thebeau and wife Katie, Nathan DeClue, Brianna DeClue, and Isaac Kavanaugh; four great-grandchildren: Madison, Allyson, Zachary, and Dakota Thebeau; and sisters-in-law: Rose Boyster, Joan Boyster, and Rachel Stuthers.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brothers: Jack, Everette, Bill, and Junior Boyster; sister, Peggy Boyster; brother-in-law: Carl Stuthers, and sisters-in-law: Elsie, Darlene, and Reva Boyster.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2016 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, January 19, 2017, beginning at 9:00 AM.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2017, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Godat officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point.
