Rita Fincher

Rita Josephine Fincher o Farmington, Missouri was born on August 22, 1925 in Potosi, a daughter to the late John R. Brown and the late Frances V. (Scalarando) Brown. Rita went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Farmington Presbyterian Manor at the age of ninety-two.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by two sons: James Zettler and John Zettler; seven siblings: Jerry Brown, Julius Brown, Osborn Brown, Lela DuDak, Daniel Brown, John Brown and Cecilia Minor.

Survivors include her eight children: Susie (Gene) Coleman of Mineral Point, Loretta (Gary) Dickinson of Mineral Point, Larry Zettler of Mineral Point, Joe (Nancy) Zettler of Mineral Point, Bill (Belinda) Zettler of Potosi, Mike (Tammy) Rice of Potosi, Milburn Fincher of Mineral Point and Jack Fincher of Potosi; daughter-in-law: Joyce Zettler of Mineral Point; sister-in-law, Ruby Brown; also surviving are a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The Family received friends on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. and Tuesday, December 19 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.

A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 12 p.m. held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gene Coleman officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held in the New Diggins Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home
