Ricky Fulbright

Ricky Lynn Fulbright of Mineral Point departed this life on July 2, 2011 at Lebanon, Missouri having reached the age of forty six years, seven months and twelve days. He was born on November 20, 1964 a son to Willard Fulbright and Rosemary (Borders) Fulbright.

On September 28, 1991, Ricky was united in married to Laura Heifner and they shared nineteen years of marriage together and were blessed to have two children born to this union.

Ricky was a very loving and devoted family man who cherished the time he had at home with his wife and children. He loved when he could make it to their activities. He got great joy out of watching his son play ball and having a guys night out. He loved spending time with his daughter whether it be having talks or daddy and daughter outings. He spent twenty one years with his wife and enjoyed time with her. When he took his family on vacation, he always made sure it was a good one.

In addition to spending time with his family, he also enjoyed riding 4 wheelers with his kids and good friends.

Rick had a good personality and always greeted you with a smile. He never met a stranger and would talk to anyone who would talk to him. He was generous and would help out anyone who asked.

He was a very smart business man when it came to running and taking care of his trucks. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Laura Fulbright of Mineral Point; parents Willard Fulbright and Rosemary Fulbright of Bloomsdale; daughter Amanda Fulbright of Mineral Point; son Michael Fulbright of Mineral Point; five sisters Julie (Rick) Ferrell of Festus; Sherri (Steven) Rawe of Festus; Kay (Donnie) Robins of Jackson; Marsha (Joe) Johnston of Jackson; Carolyn (Doug) Davis of Fruitland; father and mother in law Gerald Heifner and Geraldine Heifner of Potosi; three brothers in law David (Bobbie) Heifner of Potosi; Rob (Tonya) Heifner of Belgrade; Danny (Wendy) Heifner of Farmington; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Rob Heifner officiating and Rev. Perry Welker and Father Joe Welschmeyer assisting. Serving as pallbearers were Darren Wilfong, Lonnie Wilfong, David Heifner, Danny Heifner, Willard Moore, Rick Farrell, Mike Kampe and Steven Rawe.

Interment and final prayers were held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
