Rickey Paul Bourisaw, also known as “Pap,” of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on November 13, 1949 in Richwoods, a son to the late Victor Bourisaw and the late Iva Mae (Shannon) Thompson. Rickey entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 3, 2019 having reached sixty-nine years of age.
In addition to his parents, Rickey is preceded in death by his grandparents; wife, Sue Bourisaw; son, David Bourisaw; and grandson, Nick Melton.
Survivors include his six children: Tabitha (Dennis) Blount, Bobbie (Clint) Casner, John Cook, Linda (Chris) Boyd, Tracy (Billy) Moses, and Serina Couch; five siblings: Carlon (Ken) Jones, Ken (Melody) Bourisaw, Lonnie (Jan) Bourisaw, Donnie (Linda) Bourisaw, and Bobby Bourisaw; grandchildren: Dennis Blount, Jr., Casey Cook, Clarice Casner, Lium Cook, Ethan Cook, Kassie Rawlings and fiancé Josh Miller, Ryan Moreland, Franklin Boyd, Joshua Moses, Kolby Moses, Jordan Moses, and Kaleb Moses; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Nicole Conway, Aeron Cain, Taiden Moses, and Addison Moses; adopted grandson, Chance Wideman; companion, Cathy and daughter Ashley Burse; best friend, Dennis Pierce; also surviving are many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 8, 2019, beginning at 10:00 AM.
A funeral service for Pap will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2019, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating. Honoring Rickey by serving as his pallbearers will be Dennis Blount, Jr., Casey Cook, Garrett West, Ryan Breakfield, Blake Rulo, Justin Jones, Cody Coleman, Chance Wideman. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Ethan Ney. Interment and final prayers will be held at New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri.
