Richard Swindler

Richard Harold Swindler of Leesburg, Florida, departed this life on January 13, 2006, having reached the age of 81 years, 9 months and 9 days. He was born on April 4, 1924 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, a son to the late Harold Swindler and Pearl (Wile) Swindler.

Richard spent the years between 1942 and 1945 serving in the United States Navy. On July 15, 1950, Richard was united in marriage to Delta Mae Jones at Mansfield, Ohio. They shared a long and happy life together. Delta preceded him in death.

Richard owned and operated an Aircraft Hardware company. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his daughters, Connie Ebelt of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mickey Ambre of Bellflower, California; grand children, Jeffry Ebelt, Chance Shultz, Ryan Shultz and Craig Jones; two great grandchildren, Wyatt Shultz and Sabrina Ebelt; nieces; nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 Am on Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
