Richard Delbert Adams, 54, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at his home in Park Hills, with the loving care of his family by his side. He was born in Farmington, MO. on June 15, 1969 to the late James William and Margaret (Mosier) Adams.
Richard was known for his amazing work ethic. He found solace in working on the family farm, tending to his cattle and attending the Farmington Livestock Sale. In addition, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Richard had a kind heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family. His memory will forever be held in the hearts of those who loved and knew him.
Those remaining to treasure his memory include his mother, Margaret Adams; son, Benjamin James "BJ" Adams; two grandsons: Ayden and Devyn; three siblings: Rev. Danny Adams (wife, Debra), Sterling Adams (wife, Julia), Rev. Bob Adams (wife, Debbie); and daughter-in-law, Amber Dane. Richard also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to Richard’s father, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Rhonda Adams; and many other dear relatives.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 10:30 am until the time of his Funeral Service at 2 pm held at the DeClue Funeral Home. Pastor Brian Kingston will be officiating his service. Interment and final prayers will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
