Rev. Wayne Trousdale

October 19, 1946 — September 10, 2016

Rev. Jesse Wayne Trousdale of Cedar Hill, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family who loved him so much. He attained the age of sixty nine years, ten months, and twenty two days. He was born on October 19, 1946 in Charleston, Missouri, a son to the late Leslie Trousdale and the late Helen “Louise” (Shaw) Trousdale.

On March 14, 1965, Wayne was united in marriage to Marlene Trautman and they shared fifty one years together.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife Marlene Trousdale of Cedar Hill; son, Jim Trousdale and fiancé Dana Grobe of Hillsboro; daughter, Darlene Liebman and husband Ed of House Springs; grandchildren: Peggy Powers of Farmington, Mickie Toombs and husband Justin of Farmington, Jessica Trousdale and fiancé Nik Liverar of DeSoto, Katherine Liebman of House Springs, Joseph Liebman of House Springs, Mikaela Grobe, and Leah Grobe; great-grandchildren: Evan Powers, Payton Toombs, and Connor Toombs; and also surviving are many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Joe and Tommy Trousdale.
Wayne was a retired Tool and Die maker for Crysler Motors in Fenton, Missouri.

He has been a minister since 1991. During his many years of ministry, he served as pastor at Pine Valley Church of Potosi. He enjoyed fishing with his son and granddaughters but most of all, he enjoyed preaching God’s word and caring for the families of his church.

Visitation for Rev. Wayne will be held on September 14, 2016 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume on September 15, 2016, beginning at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on September 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl McKalip officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Charleston, Missouri.
