Retha Dobbs

Retha LaVern Dobbs of Potosi, Missouri passed away on February 18, 2015 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of ninety one years, three months, and twenty days. She was born on October 29, 1923 a daughter to the late Jerry Fryman and Mary Elizabeth (Hargis) Fryman. Retha is survived by her beloved husband Marvin Dobbs of Potosi, Missouri; two daughters: Debbie McGinness and husband Jerry of Potosi, Missouri and Terry Dobbs of Potosi, Missouri; five grandchildren: Juan McGinness and wife Lori, Dr. Jamie McGinness and wife Jackie, Jarah Politte and husband Jimmy, Jordy McGinness, and Jensen McGinness; nine great-grandchildren: Jalynn, Gavin, Noah, Anndi, Jamison, Luke, Jimmy, Maggie, and Sam; and many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Retha is preceded in death by nine sisters: Ellie Bell, Ima Gean Polovich Maness, Hazel Tinker, Truly Hutchings, Lena Akers, Ollie Fryman, Lora Barton, Flora Stevens, and Stella Douglas; and three brothers: Samuel Fryman, Everett Fryman, and Arley Fryman. Visitation for Retha will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4:30 - 8:00 PM at the DeClue Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment and final prayers will be held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
