Reggie Jenkins

Reggie Jenkins of Potosi, Missouri passed away on February 29, 2016 at his residence having reached the age of sixty one years, three months, and six days. He was born on November 23, 1954, in Potosi, Missouri, a son to the late Luther J. Jenkins and the late Florence (Eye) Jenkins.

Reggie is survived by his sister Burnadeen Yost of Fenton, Missouri; and special nieces and nephews: Marty Smith and husband Ron of Arlington, Texas, Janet Yost of Chesterfield, Missouri; Rusty Yost of Fenton, Missouri, Rick Jenkins and wife Dana of Farmington, Missouri, Robbie Jenkins and wife Susan of O'Fallon, Missouri, Jamie Meinershagen and husband Shawn of Terre Du Lac, Missouri, and Clayton Skaggs and wife Nancy of St. Louis.

In addition to his parents, Reggie is preceded in death by his brothers: Roxie Herbert Jenkins and John "Eddie" Jenkins; sister Barbara Skaggs; and nephew Steven Yost.

Visitation was held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 4:30 PM - 8:00 pm and Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 9:00 until 11:00 am at the DeClue Funeral Home.

A funeral service for Reggie was conducted Thursday at 11:00 am at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Honoring Reggie by serving as pallbearers were Golden "Pug" Fryman, Chad Conway, Michael Bourbon, Scott W. Carlyen, Dennis E. Finley, Jerry Vance and Joe Kopp.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
