Raymond Maples

Raymond Roy Maples of Cadet, Missouri entered into rest on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy two years, five months and twenty eight days. He was born on August 18, 1942 a son to the late Thomas Woodrow Maples and Zell Polly Purvis Maples. On November 20, 1960 Roy was united in marriage to Ernestene House in St. Louis, Missouri and they shared fifty four years together. Survivors include his beloved wife Ernestene Maples; two sons: Jeff Maples and wife Debbie of De Soto, Missouri; Mike Maples and wife Andrea of Hillsboro, Missouri and one daughter Valery Hackmann and husband Steven of Rosie, Arkansas; one brother Woody Maples and wife Kris of Columbia, Missouri; four sisters: Billie Riebeling and husband Donnie of St. Louis, Missouri, Georgia Faye Woods of Mellville, Missouri, JoAnn Bright and husband Ron of House Springs, Missouri, and Debbie Maples of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by two sisters Marjorie Graves and Bobbie McClellan and one brother Toby Maples. A memorial service was held Saturday, February 21, 3:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jeremy Muniz officiating. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
