Raymond "Henry" Boyer of Mineral Point, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family having reached the age of sixty-nine years, seven months and five days. Henry was born on March 6, 1950, a son of the late Raymond C. Boyer and the late Dorthey (Jolly) Schuler.
On November 4, 1972, Henry was united in marriage to Shirley Ellen Pierce and they shared forty-six years together.
Henry is survived by his wife, Shirley Boyer; five children: Amy (Dennis) Vandergriff, Angela (Ricky) Gibson, Bridget Boyer and Jimmy Kriegbaum, Dylan Shuford and Amber Garcia, Henry Shuford; six grandchildren: Ethan Nickles and Betty, Ariel (Michael Jr.) Wells, Holly Gibson, Alexander Nickles, Allie Whitaker, and Karlie Vandergriff; eight great grandchildren: Jacob, Maya, Jaxxon, Kegan, Kyrah, Joseph, Katie, and Kimberly; sister, Diana Pierce; half siblings: Mary (Eddie) Vandergriff, Raymond E. (Brenda) Boyer, Vince "Porky" (Debbie) Boyer; special friends: Jimmy Eckhoff and Snoop Eckhoff; also surviving are nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In addition to his father and mother, Henry was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Price and one sister, Lorraine Boyer.
Visitation will be Monday, October 14, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow on Monday beginning at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to DeClue Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
