Ray Warden

Ray Lee Warden of Steelville, Missouri departed this life on November 12, 2012 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital having reached the age of forty seven years, eight months and twenty days. He was born on February 23, 1965 in Washington County, Missouri a son to Florence Rulo Scott and the late Ray Warden.

In addition to his father, Ray was preceded in death by a sister Debbie Sorenson; grandparents Harry and Hazel Rulo, Bob and Sarah Warden; aunt Sandy Rulo and mother in law Cathy Callahan.

On November 6, 1993, Ray was united in marriage to Stephanie Callahan and they shared nineteen years together.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Stephanie Warden of Steelville; mother Florence Scott of Potosi; step father Warren Scott of Potosi; father in law Gary (Barb) Callahan of Cuba; daughter Rebecca (Thomas) Kadlez of St. Louis; sons Dustin Warden, Dylan Warden, Devin Warden, Dakota Warden all of Steelville; sisters Ruth (Lynn) Edgar of Farmington, Jeannie Palmier of Potosi; brothers Terry (Margie) Rulo of Tennessee, Jerry (Amy) Rulo of Steelville, Deon Robinson of Potosi; two brothers in law Darrell (Trish) Callahan of Steelville; Sammy (Mindy) Stovall of Cuba; two sisters in law Patricia Hayes and friend Anthony Dvorak of Cuba; Norma (Jeff) Turnbough of Cherryville; three grandchildren Michael Kadlez, Breanna Kadlez, Gabrielle Kadlez; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Matt Woods officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Devin Warden, Dakota Warden, Dustin Warden, Dylan Warden, Travis Callahan, Caleb Callahan, Tom Kadlez, Terry Rulo, Jerry Rulo, Deon Robinson, Lynn Edgar, Ruth Edgar and Erik Edgar.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given towards the funeral expense.
