Randy Lee Bouse

November 24, 1943 — October 29, 2024

Randy Lee Bouse, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully on October 29, 202, at the age of 80. He was born in Ebo Missouri on November 24, 1943, to his parents, Clifford and Mary (Brazil) Bouse. Randy grew up in a close-knit community and attended Ebo School before graduating from Potosi School in 1961.

In 1965, Randy proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1967. His life journey took a beautiful turn when he united in marriage with the love of his life, Sharon McMahon, on September 30, 1967, at Potosi Presbyterian Church. They shared an incredible 57 years together, built on a foundation of love, laughter, and unwavering support. One of Randy’s favorite moments was the tender dance he shared with Sharon while decorating for their daughter Karen's wedding—a memory that encapsulated their deep bond and joy in each other.

Randy's memory will be forever treasured by his wife, Sharon Bouse; his three children: Randy Allen (Galen) Bower, Lisa Moore and Tim Mosier, and Karen (JT) Black. In addition, Randy's love extended even further to his six grandchildren: Hunter (Mary) Missey, Ethan Gomas, Rylee Gomas and Eli Turnbough, Christopher Moore, Charlie Lemay-Bower, and August Lemay-Bower, as well as two great-grandchildren, Rowan Missey and Sage McKinney. Randy adored sharing his time with them, often teaching them how to swim and instilling in them the values of kindness and joy. Additionally, Randy is survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Pamela and Jerry DeClue.

Randy had an infectious spirit—it was said that he never met a stranger and was always ready to engage in conversation, share a story, or lend an ear. He was a devoted fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and found great pleasure in classic cars, taking pride in his own 1981 El Camino. His frequent visits to Fisher Auto Parts Store became legendary, as he loved connecting with the staff and customers who became friends over time. Additionally, Randy cherished attending Ronnie Mislap's concerts with Sharon, creating more lasting memories together.

Randy leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, remembered fondly by his loving wife, Sharon, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Barry Bouse and Missy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be missed dearly by all who had the good fortune to know him.

In addition to Randy's parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Jason Bouse, and his siblings: June Portell, John Bouse and Edward Bouse; and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Lester and Sadie McMahon.

Visitation will be held at DeClue Family Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at New Masonic Cemetery. Elder Mike Jarvis will officiate Randy's service. Randy will also receive full military honors presented by the U.S. Army and VFW Post 6996.

Randy Lee Bouse's gentle spirit and laughter will ring in the hearts of those who loved him, as they honor the cherished memories they will hold forever dear.
