Randall "Randy" Curtis Vance, Sr. of Potosi, Missouri was born on February 12, 1949 in Potosi, a son to the late Curtis Ralph Vance and the late Marie Lucille (Myers) Edgar. Randy passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the age of sixty-eight years.
Randy will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his five children: Dawn (Lynn) Barnhouse, Shelly (Dale) Jarvis, Jody Montgomery, Danuile Rulo, and Randall Vance Jr.; step mother, Frances Vance; eight siblings: Glenda Drennen, Sherry Vance, Jerry (Paula) Vance, Cindy Rousan, Tina (Kevin) Eckhoff, Mike (Ginger) Vance, Steve (Lacey) Vance, and Pam Brann; eight grandchildren: Jade (Nick) Harmon, Corey (Erica) Clark, Casey Clark, Dusty Montgomery, Shawnee Rulo, Blake Rulo, Ty Rulo, and Davin Vance; nine great-grandchildren: Mireya Harmon, Easton Barron, Aubree Barron, Avery Smith, Jada Rulo, Braylee Rulo, Bryce Rulo, Brayden Couch, and Ethan Harmon; and special friend, Kathy O’Neail; also surviving are special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great fishing buddy, Denny “Perch Belly” Branaugh and hunting buddies: Doyle, Dave, Dan, Mike, Jeff and Corey.
In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by his step-father, Edmond Edgar; brothers: Eddie Vance, Danny Edgar, and Greg Edgar; brother-in-law, Tom Brann; paternal grandparents: Marvin and Lucille Myers; and maternal grandparents: John and Mildred Vance.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 24, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Stan Payne officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held in the Bates Creek Cemetery.
All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
