Rachel Price

Rachel Lorene Price of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on December 18, 2013 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of eighty nine years, eleven months and twenty five days. She was born on December 23, 1923 in Madison County, Missouri a daughter to the late William Kean and Rachel (Revelle) Kean.
In addition to her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Price, son Edward Roy Lee Price, grandson Timothy Lee Price, two granddaughters Rhonda Jean Goodson, Norma Lee Wilaford, sons in law Everett Goodson, Wilburn Mosier, fourbrothers Albert Kean, Arthur Kean, Eddie Kean and Lee Kean.
Rachel was a full time member of the New Diggins Pentecostal Tabernacle.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are two sons Billy Price of Mineral Point, Don Price and wife Kay of Mineral Point; two daughters Wilma Mosier of Mineral Point, Edna Goodson of Mineral Point; two sisters in law Wiladean Price of St. Clair, Rita Ann Goodson of Potosi; daughter in law Bonnie Pyatt and husband Bob of Potosi; six sisters in law Carol Cain and husband Albert, Shirley Lawson, Alfreda Richards, Leona Kean, Elenora Fowler, Evelyn Price; two brothers in law Vincent Price and wife Judy, Harvey Price and wife Glenda; ten grandchildren Everett Lynn Goodson and wife Martina, Terry Dale Goodson and wife Kelly, Randy Mosier-O'neall and wife Kathy, Paula Link, Ladonna Camden and husband Steve, Sarah Louise Lovett and husband Justin, Adrean Cox and husband Andy, Karen Diane Adams and husband Jody, Angela Gale Battreal and husband Greg, Kim Kirby and husband Ken; a host of great & great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Ardel Grey officiating and Rev. Wesley Kean assisting. Serving as pallbearers were Cody Goodson, Trenton Goodson, Chris Vandergriff, Jason King, Lynn Goodson, Denny Goodson, Donny Wilkerson and Ben Litton.
Interment and final prayers were held at the New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
