Rachel Kamille Johnston of Caledonia, Missouri departed this life at the Washington County Memorial Hospital ER on May 10, 2006, having reached the age of 18 years and 2 months. She was born on March 10, 1988 at Farmington, Missouri, a precious daughter of Gerald and Tamara (Sadler) Johnston.
Rachel was full of life. She was a senior at Valley R 6 High School and served as her class Treasurer, she was a member of the Shop Club, FCCLA and the Choir. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rachel was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Lyman Sadler and Mary Sadler Friese, Donald and Goldie Worden, Willis Whitaker, George Johnston and Gladys Johnston; her uncle Troy Sadler and aunt Judy Tucker; her uncle William Johnston, Jr. and her aunt Lisa Gibson.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her parents, Gerald and Tamara Johnston of Caledonia; one brother, Gerid Johnston of Caledonia; her maternal grandparents, Larry and Connie Sadler of Caledonia; her paternal grandfather, William Johnston and wife Terri of Caledonia; her paternal grandmother, Joyce Wallace and husband David of Caledonia; her great grandmother, Edna Whitaker of Bismarck; a special friend, William Freise who she loved very much, of Irondale; many aunts; uncles; cousins and friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Zack Hagerty, Kody Nicol, Adam Maxwell, Michael Dodd, Kris Kearns and Jake Smith. Serving as honorary pallbearer was her brother Gerid Johnston.
Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
