Phyllis A Fryman was born on May 18, 1942 in Ironton, Missouri, a daughter to the late Robert “Bob” Nickelson and the late Mary (Huckstep) Nickelson. Phyllis passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 having reached the age of 80 years, 1 month and 13 days. Phyllis was united in marriage at Potosi United Methodist Church, to William “Bill” Fryman on December 16, 1960, and they shared 61 years of memories together.
Those who remain to treasure her memory include her three children: Debbie Hochstatter (husband, Jeff), Rob Fryman (wife, Brenda), Jennifer Oberley (husband, Scott); six grandchildren: Myles Fryman (wife, Joanna), Holli Malugen (husband, John), Morgan Fryman (wife, Megan), JT Hochstatter (wife, Katie), Allison Oberley and Ashlyn Oberley; six great grandchildren: Austyn, Witten, Lennon, Teagan, Hazel, and Charlotte; two sisters: Sharon Fryman (husband, Ron) and Jennifer Gail Rulo (husband, Ralph). Phyllis is also survived by special friends: Paula and Emerald Pitts, and Rick and Roxana Heidbrier; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her father and mother, Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Fryman on May 8, 2022; sister, Carol Sue Nickelson; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Virgil and Eunice Fryman and many other dear relatives.
The family wishes to thank all of the CNA's and staff of Potosi Manor Nursing Home and Preferred Hospice for their loving care given to Phyllis. Your friendship meant so much to her.
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday, July 7th from 9 to 10 AM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 10 AM held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment will be held at the Ottery Cemetery, Belleview, Missouri. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have served and ministered to the family of Phyllis.
