Phillip Wade

Phillip Vern Wade of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at St. Anthony's Kindred Hospital having reached the age of sixty five years, eight months and twenty seven days. He was born on August 23, 1948 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son to the late Rev. Floyd Wade and Elsie (Henderson) Wade.
In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by a daughter Stacie Jo Wade and a sister Reva Boyster.
On June 15, 1970, Phillip was united in marriage to Mary Jane Boyster and they shared 44 years together.
Phillip served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Mary Jane Wade of Potosi; three sons Tim Wade of Utica, Nebraska, Corey Wade of Bonne Terre, Brandon Wade of Potosi; two brothers Robert "Boat" Wade and wife Joann of Potosi, Floyd Lee Wade of Potosi; two sisters Linda Scott and husband Wayne of Mineral Point, Judy Gensler of Hopewell; five grandchildren Elijah, Garrit, Madison, Matthew, Dylan; special friends Tiffany Sullivan and husband Tim, Jennifer Lenhart and husband Corey; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Jim Wade officiating and Rev. Robert Wade assisting. Serving as pallbearers were Stanley Boyster, Dexter Wade, Kevin King, Josh Sheets, Jerry Cluck and Jacob Reed. Honorary pallbearers were Jamie Wade and Alex Wade.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
