Perry Hollinsworth

Perry Douglas Hollinsworth Jr of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on December 15, 2013 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of eighty four years, nine months and twenty eight days. He was born February 17, 1929 in Shirley, Missouri a son to the late Perry Hollinsworth and Myrtle (Miner) Hollinsworth.
In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by a sister Geneva (Bunch) Sanderson, four brothers Willard Hollinsworth, Leonard Hollinsworth, Stanley Hollinsworth, Bill Hollinsworth, brother in law Don Bunch, two nephews Dennis Hollinsworth and Terry Lynn Hollinsworth.
On July 15, 1951, Junior was united in marriage to Clara Marcella Wickerham and they shared sixty two years together.
Junior served in the United States Army from 1953 ~ 1954.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Marcella Hollinsworth of Potosi; two sisters Wilma Hayes and husband Cleo of Salem, Patricia Hawkins and husband Dennis of Potosi; two sisters in law Beaulah Hollinsworth of Potosi, Mary Hollinsworth of Illinois; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Grassy Hollow Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
