Pennie Jaycox

Pennie Jaycox of Bismarck, Missouri departed this life on October 28, 2012 at her residence having reached the age of thirty one years, eight months and three days. She was born on February 25, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter to Robert Pratt and Torrey King Newton.

Pennie was preceded in death by a brother George Melvin Pratt; two grandfathers Charles Pratt, John King and an uncle Carl King.

On August 7, 1999, Pennie was united in marriage to Woodrow Jaycox, Jr. and they shared thirteen years together.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Woody Jaycox of Mineral Point; father Robert (Lisa) Pratt of Bonne Terre; mother Torrey (John) Newton of Las Vegas, Nevada; children Katlin Jaycox of Mineral Point, Kenzie Jaycox of Mineral Point, Hunter Jaycox of Mineral Point; grandmother Agnus Pratt of Bourbon; six brothers Robert Pratt of Owensville, John Pratt of Bonne Terre, James Pratt of Texas, Kenny Pratt of Bonne Terre, Samuel Pratt of Desloge, Dillan Pratt of Bonne Terre; three sisters Lucy (Kenneth) Klaus of Cadet, Georgia Pratt of Bonne Terre, Candee (Richard) Burns of Potosi; father in law Woodrow (Kim) Jaycox of Bismarck; mother in law Mary (Stephen) York of Festus; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Carl Wilson officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Robert J. Pratt, Robert Pratt, John Wayne Pratt, Benjy Pratt, Chris Cantrell and Robert E. Lee Punkin. Honorary pallbearer was Ellis Coleman.

Interment and final prayers were held at the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
