Pauline M. Hedrick of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on January 22, 2008 at Lincoln County Nursing & Rehab, Troy, Missouri, having reached the age of seventy nine years, two months and twenty one days. She was born at Rolla, Missouri on November 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Christopher McMillan Worley and Goldie May Chandler Worley.
She was united in marriage to Claude J. Hedrick on November 30, 1946 at Potosi, Missouri and they shared over forty-seven years of marriage together. Mr. Hedrick preceded her in death on March 19, 1994. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; a dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Christopher (Junior) Worley, Joe Worley, Orville Worley; two sisters, June Emily and Hazel Asher.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her daughter, Mary Gail Fitzwater and special friend, Terry Ellis of Moscow Mills; four brothers, William Worley of Farmington, Leonard Worley of Farmington, Jimmy Worley of Springfield, Earl Worley of Calhoun, Louisiana; two sisters, Faye Connell of Ellsinore, Opal Twomey of Fredericktown; two grandchildren, Krystal Farley, Denny Fitzwater; ten great grandchildren, Kayci Farley, Abby Farley, Jacob Farley, McKenna Farley, Erica Lynn Fitzwater, Kaylee Fitzwater, Olivia Fitzwater, Timothy Hedrick, Anthony Hedrick, Heather Hedrick; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri, with Pastor Len Hedgpeth officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Devin Neal, Krystal Farley, Anthony Hedrick, Ralph Farley, Denny Fitzwater, Timothy Hedrick and Ricky Lee Turntine; honorary pallbearers, Jacob Farley and McKenna Farley.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
