Dorothy "Pauline" Gillam Macomber was born on October 13, 1929 at Leadwood, Missouri, a daughter to Charles Talley and Gretchen (Crump) Talley. Pauline passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 having reached the age of 92 years, 7 months and 6 days.
Pauline was united in marriage to her first husband, Guy Gillam of the Belgrade area in 1943 and they shared 43 years of life together. After his passing, She remarried in 1991 to James Macomber of Imperial, Missouri and they shared 21 years together. Pauline loved her family with all of her heart they were one of her highest priorities with the Lord being her first. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always wanted to make sure they knew how much she loved them. Pauline also served the Lord in ministry for many years while married to her first husband, Guy. In past times, Pauline enjoyed painting, crocheting, and crafting in general. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pauline is survived by her two children: Larry Gillam and Christine Ross; three grandchildren: Greg Gillam (wife, Lila), Brandon Gillam and Fiancé, Alyssa, and Monica Bennett (husband, Darrell); special nephew, Ron Gillam (Wife, Ree); also surviving are step children, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy Gillam; second husband, James Macomber; sister, Virginia Mayberry; daughter-in-law, Diana Gillam; and son-in-law, Gary Ross.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2:30 PM at the Leadwood Cemetery, Leadwood, Missouri. Elder Leonard Compton will officiate her service.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
