Paul Shaw

December 5, 1921 — June 19, 2014

Paul Kenneth Shaw of Berryman, Missouri departed this life on June 19, 2014 at his residence having reached the age of ninety two years, six months and fourteen days. He was born on December 5, 1921 in Bixby, Missouri a son to the late Arthur Shaw and Effie (Stewart) Shaw.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife Melba (Blankenship) Shaw, sister Thelma Shaw, two brothers Carl Shaw and Harold Shaw.
Paul is survived by a son Dennis Shaw of Berryman; two daughters Joyce Knipmeyer and husband Gerald of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Paula Shaw of Hazelwood; brother Guy Shaw and wife Katie of Overland; sister Beulah Harmon of Berryman; four grandchildren Jeff Knipmeyer and wife Rachel, Michael Shaw and wife Jennifer, Lindsey Shaw, Elliott Littlejohn; two great grandchildren Madelyn Knipmeyer, Riley Knipmeyer; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 12 Noon at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Canterberry officiating. Concluding services were held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Full Military Honors presented by the United States Army Air Corps. And Local VFW Post # 6996. Honoring Paul's life by serving as pallbearers were Jeff Knipmeyer, Mike Shaw, Elliott Littlejohn, Guy Shaw, Kenny Shaw, John Shaw and Junior Harmon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to in memory of Paul to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road 2nd Fl., Princeton, NJ 08540.
Funeral arrangements for Paul were respectfully cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri
