Patsy Lou DeClue of Richwoods, Missouri departed this life on August 17, 2014 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy five years, three months and twenty three days. She was born on April 25, 1939 in Mineral Point, Missouri a daughter to the late Vernie King and Laura (Politte) King.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by a son Frankie Steven DeClue, grandson Christopher Parker Gamble, four brothers Willis King, Joe King, Rob King, Larry King, three sisters Wanda Wills, Betty Jeffries and Lucy Miller.
On July 9, 1955, Patsy was united in marriage to Frankie DeClue and they shared fifty nine years together.
Patsy was one of the founding pastors of Way of Life Tabernacle in Richwoods, since approximately 1989.
Patsy is survived by her husband Frankie DeClue of Richwoods; three sons Rick E. DeClue and wife Laura of Cadet, Dennis W. DeClue of Richwoods, Philip D. DeClue of Potosi; daughter Donna Gamble and husband Rev. Harry Gamble of Cadet; sister Edna Schroder of Hillsboro; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 11 Am at the DeClue Chapel with Bro. Ron Taylor officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dennis DeClue, Charles DeClue, Dennis DeClue, Jr., Philip D. DeClue, Scott Emily and Patrick Gamble.
Interment and final prayers were held at Horine Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
