Patricia Hawkins

Patricia Ruth Hawkins of Shirley, Missouri was born on December 17, 1944 in Shirley a daughter to the late Perry Hollinsworth and the late Myrtle (Miner) Hollinsworth. On June 28, 1963 she was united in marriage to Dennis Hawkins and there were three children born to this union. Patricia was a wonderful Wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church in Shirley, Missouri. Patricia enjoyed gardening and flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Patricia went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 surrounded by her family having reached the age of seventy two years and three days.

Patricia will be missed by all who knew and loved her so much including her loving and devoted husband of fifty three years, Dennis Hawkins of Shirley, Missouri; two sons Brent Hawkins and wife Michele of Shirley; Bucky Hawkins and wife Leasa of Shirley; daughter Sonya Govero and husband Raymond of Potosi; eleven grandchildren: Dustin Hawkins and wife Lisa; Justin Sadler and wife Kelly; Brandon Hawkins and wife Kailey; Jody Boyster; Baylea Hawkins; Cagney Watson; Justin Hawkins and wife Savannah; Palin Hawkins; Jordin Govero, Colin Govero, and Seth Gibson; eleven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Beulah Hollinsworth, Marcella Hollinsworth, Mary Hollinsworth, Ruth Kennedy, and Beverly Hawkins; brothers-in-law: Cleo Hays and John Hawkins and wife Muriel; also surviving are a host of dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her two sisters: Geneva Bunch Sanderson and Wilma Hays; five brothers: Willard, Leonard, Stanley, Bill and Perry Hollinsworth Jr. and a great grandson, Gavin Aubuchon.

Visitation was held at the DeClue Funeral Home, Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Lakewood Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

A Funeral Service was held Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Baptist Church with Rev. Alva Enloe officiating. Interment and final prayers were held at the Lakewood Baptist Cemetery.
