Pat Lawson

Pat Lawson, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri departed this life June 19, 2009 at his residence having reached the age of fifty one years, nine months and fourteen days. He was born on September 5, 1957 at St. Charles, Missouri a son to Dorothy Lawson and the late Pat Lawson, Sr.

In addition to his father Pat Lawson, Sr., Pat was preceded in death by a brother Paul Lawson; two sisters Patricia Lawson and Janice Williams.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are three sons Jeremy Lawson of Caledonia; Billy Lawson of Germany; Matthew Lawson of St. Louis; two daughters Sarah Lawson of Germany; Shawna Lawson of St. Louis; mother Dorothy Lawson of Ironton; five sisters Bev Lawson of Ironton; Dorothy Hopping and husband David of Potosi; Pauline Breier and husband Henry of St. Louis; Margo Lawson of St. Louis; Lisa Novelly and husband Greg of Colorado; two brothers Monroe Lawson and wife Betty of Ironton; Michael Lawson and wife Sharon of Park Hills; one granddaughter Harley Lawson; special friend Donna Griggs; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 10 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jeremy Lawson, Michael Lawson, David Hopping, Cody Lawson, Aaron Griggs, Monroe Lawson and Robert Breier.

Interment and final prayers were held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
