Pastor James Nolan Wade was born on March 1, 1950 in Springtown, Missouri, a son to the late Philip Wade and the late Violet (Fann) Wade. Pastor Jim went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 having reached the age of sixty-seven years, seven months, and two days.
On October 19, 1973, Jim was united in marriage to the love of his life, Diane Coulter and they shared forty-four years together. To this union three children were born.
Jim is survived by his loving and devoted wife Diane Wade of Mineral Point; three children: Amanda Wade of Mineral Point, Jimmy Wade II and wife Karen of Desloge, and Jennifer Wade Sampson of Mineral Point; one brother, Pastor Rick Wade of Desloge; five grandchildren: Aidan, Avery, Kayla, Allyson, and Jeremiah; also surviving are many dear nieces, nephews, church family, and close friends who will miss him.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Wade; sister-in-law, Betty Wade; and mother-in-law, Carlene Chandler.
Visitation for Pastor Jim was held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM at the Hopewell Church of God in Potosi, Missouri.
A Homegoing Service was held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Church of God with Rev. Paul Smith officiating, assisted by Bishop Tommy Powell and Bro. Sheldon Marler.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Hopewell Cemetery. DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the funeral arrangements of Pastor Jim during this time of remembrance.
