Orville William Mallow of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on February 4, 2012 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of ninety five years, seven months and twelve days. He was born on June 23, 1916 at Palmer, Missouri a son to the late William Franklin Mallow and Lathie Louise (Duncan) Mallow.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife Louise Bell Fisher Mallow; two brothers Charles Mallow, Eugene Mallow; three sisters Bernice Mallow, Aline Yamnity and Nelda Mae Cheatam.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his special friends of the Potosi Masonic Lodge #131 and the Tyro Lodge #12.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Guy Conway officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Terry Tullock, Bryan Buckley, Sid Rasnic, Pat Campbell, Jerry Bush and Eddie Williams.
Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens where full military honors were provided by the United States Army and Local VFW Post #6996. A funeral escort was provided by the Patriot Guard.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
