Oliver Crocker

Oliver Houston Crocker of Potosi, Missouri departed this life November 12, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy eight years, eight months and three days. He was born on March 9, 1931 at Goodland, Missouri a son to the late James Crocker and Zola (Clements) Crocker.

On November 26, 1955, Oliver was united in marriage to Alta Yount and they shared almost fifty four years together.

Oliver was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Oliver was preceded in death by four brothers Bill Crocker, Aaron Crocker, Ed Crocker, Perry Crocker and an infant brother Roy Lee Crocker.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Alta Crocker of Potosi; son Randy Crocker and wife Cheryl of Farmington; two daughters Lisa Krebs and husband Rick of Illinois, Teresa Crocker of Florida; brother Donnie Crocker of Desloge; three sisters Aileen Lawson and husband Jim of Desloge, Betty Warden and husband George of Caledonia, Marie Summers and husband Boyde of Gray Summit; ten grandchildren Jason Branaugh, Andrea Crocker, Justin Crocker, Kristin Krebs, Eric Krebs, Becca Krebs, Jennifer Krebs, Paula Tindall, Paul Tindall, Danielle Borden; eight great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jason Branaugh, Justin Crocker, Paul Tindall, Randy Sutton, Jim Reed, Eric Krebs, Keith Summers and Rick Krebs.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
