Oda Mae Yarbrough of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on October 21, 2008 at Georgian Gardens Nursing Home, having reached the age of eighty one years, one month and seven days. She was born September 14, 1927 at Richwoods, Missouri, a daughter of the late Dave Wilson and Alice Hansel Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Yarbrough; two sons, Billy Yarbrough and Glen Yarbrough; a daughter, Sharon Yarbrough; three sisters, Beaulah Piper, Jackie Boyer and Oma Lee Yarbrough.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her daughter Virginia Lalumondiere and husband Joseph of Potosi; a sister Mary Grissom of Potosi; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral Services were conducted on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Greg Slinkard, Chaplin for Hospice will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Charlie Lalumondiere, Charlie Grissom, Jr., Garrett Wacker, Art Strubberg, Josh Valentine and Charles Grissom III. Honorary pallbearers were Tanner Hanger and Seth Lalumondiere.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
