Norma Taylor

March 27, 1934 — September 17, 2012

Norma Jean Taylor of Hopewell, Missouri departed this life on September 17, 2012 having reached the age of seventy eight years, five months and twenty one days. She was born on March 27, 1934 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Albert Heifner and Gladys (Walls) Heifner.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by three brothers Gerald Heifner, Donis Heifner, Alvin Heifner; three sisters Louise Sanders, Marian Gamble and Dorothy Thurmond.

Mom was a hard worker. She was quick with a smile, a laugh or a shoulder to lean on. Some of her favorite pastimes were watching the Gathers Gospel Group sing, tending to her flowers, garden and sewing. She made beautiful quilts. You always knew when Christmas came around you were going to get something made from her heart.

Mom always had time for everybody and if you had a problem or just wanted to sit and visit, she was always there. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her two daughters Lisa Taylor of Hopewell; Tammy (Leonard) Link of Farmington; three sons Sheldon Taylor of Farmington; Harry (Rena) Reinheimer of Kansas City, Kansas; Delmar Reinheimer of Florida; one brother Marvin (Carol) Heifner of Desloge; two sisters Ilene (Arthur) Campbell of Potosi; Loretta Turner of Portland, Oregon; many grandchildren, great great grandchildren, family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 11 Am at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. H. Wayne Isgriggs officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Deven Montgomery, Sheldon Taylor, Harry Reinheimer, Andy Price, Greg Neubrand and Leonard Link.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Hopewell Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
