Norma Ruth Hedrick of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on September 18, 1939 in Cadet, Missouri a daughter of the late Joseph Politte and Lillian (Rulo) Politte. On December 11, 1960 Norma was united in marriage to Johnny Hedrick and there were nine children born to this union.
Norma entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family having reached the age of seventy-seven years, seven months and four days.
Norma will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her nine children: Nancy Grant and husband Richard of Potosi; Kim Adams and husband Darrell; Jeff Hedrick and wife BJ; Lisa Ward and husband Stacy; Terry Hedrick and wife Billie Jo; Missy Hedrick; Adam Hedrick; Johnny Hedrick; Andy Hedrick - all of Mineral Point, Missouri and; three brothers: Robert Politte and wife Norma of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; Bill Politte and wife Wanda of Festus; Mike Politte and wife Connie of Cadet; two sisters: JoAnn Skaggs and Peggy Adams and husband Gary both of Mineral Point; sister-in-law, Doris Hedrick of East Cape Girardeau, Missouri; brother-in-law, Bob Adams and wife Debbie of Mineral Point; twenty grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren ; also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny Hedrick; brother, Leroy Politte; three sisters: Rachel Shepard, Ronda Adams and Laverta “Bert” Stringer.
Visitation will be at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Monday April 24, 2017 and Tuesday, April 25 from 9-11 a.m.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Adams officiating assisted by Pastor Matt Woods. Honoring Norma by serving as pallbearers were Johnny Hedrick, Austin Hedrick, Blaine Harmmonds, Dustin Merseal, Richard W. Grant, Garen Evans, Doug Skaggs and Mitch Skaggs.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the New Diggins Cemetery DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the funeral arrangements for Norma during this time of remembrance.
