Nola Young

Nola Inez Young of Steelville, Missouri was born on January 18, 1934 in Leachville, Arkansas a daughter to the late Bernard Hart and the late Eula (Cude) Hart. Nola entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at her home having reached the age of eighty-three years, seven months and eighteen days.
Nola will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her beloved husband, Ameuel Young of Steelville, Missouri; son, Len Young and wife Rebecca of Steelville; sister, Imogene Young of St. Louis; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nola was preceded in death by three sisters: Charlotte Sherrell, Christine and Margaret Hart; two brothers-in-law: George Young and Claude Sherrell.
The family received friends on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 4:30-8 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation resumed on Saturday, September 9, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. held from the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Loise Moses officiating. Musical Selections were: "God Walks The Dark Hills" and "What A Lovely Name" both by Vestal Goodman.
Honoring Nola by serving as Casket Bearers where: Donald H. Mayer, Frank Mayer, Jerry M. Smith, Tim Nixon, Ron Laird and Paul Laird. Serving as Honorary Casket Bearer was Royce Fritz.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. Following the Committal Service, the family and friends gathered at the Lakewood Baptist Church for a time of fellowship and a luncheon.
DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the arrangements and services for Nola during this time of remembrance.
