Nancy Jane Scott of Farmington, Missouri was born on October 31, 1947 in Frank Clay, Missouri, a daughter to the late Julian Dixon Walker and the late Mae Irene (Glore) Walker. On November 16, 1967, Nancy was united in marriage to Michael Scott Sr. at the Pond Creek Church and there were two children born to this union.
Nancy entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital Jefferson having reached the age of sixty-nine years, five months and one day.
Nancy will be missed by all who loved and knew her including her son, Michael Scott Jr. and wife Mary Grace of Doe Run, Mo.; daughter, Tina Michelle White and Robin Parks of Hillsboro, Mo.; three half-brothers: Kenneth McClain and wife Kathleen of St. Louis, Mo.; Robert McClain and wife Carol of Bonne Terre, Mo.; Charlie Bequette and wife Betty of Farmington, Mo.; three sisters: Sally Vavac of St. Louis; Rosemary McFarland of Desloge, Mo.; Helen Hulsey of Park Hills, Mo.; three granddaughters: Emily White and Chris Wampler; Rebekah Metz and husband Andrew; Abigail Faith Scott; great granddaughter, Lily Jane Wampler; also surviving are a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to her father and mother, Nancy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Scott Sr.; sisters: Goldie Foister, Delores Dunlap and Verna Mae Stroup; two brothers: Gene and Robert Bequette.
A Memorial Visitation was held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5-6 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 6 p.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel, Pastor Tim Notz officiating.
