Minnie Skaggs

Minnie Mae Skaggs of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on July 12, 2005 at her residence, having reached the age of 64 years and 24 days. She was born on June 18, 1941 at Bonne Terre, Missouri, a daughter of the late Stonewall Jackson Nash and Daisy (Kane) Nash.
Minnie Mae was united in marriage to William David Skaggs on July 14, 1962 and he preceded her in death on December 21, 2004.
In addition to her husband and parents, Minnie Mae was preceded in death by a sister Alvada Ketcherside and a brother Tommy Nash.
Those who survive to mourn her passing are her son, Dennis Nash and his wife Virginia of Mineral Point; a daughter, Daisy Payne and husband Jahn of Bourbon; a son-in-law Dwight Eckhoff of Potosi; her brothers, Jack Nash and wife Ann of California and Eddie Ray Nash of California; her sisters, Mary Marion of California and Marie Davis of Colorado; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Johnny Emily and Rev. Johnny Wren officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dwight Eckhoff, Terry Purcell, Marty Drennen, John Kane, Wayne Bourbon and Bill Kane.
Interment was in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
